Hi everyone,

I will like to know the best pace for my article submission to be effective. Presently, I use unique article wizard and the proprietor, Dr. Noel recommends 50 articles a day. I have tried submitting to all directories and blogs at the same time before. I noticed that there is no influx of backlinks. This may be due to the fact that many directory, site and blog owners do not set the site to automatically approve. So, it takes several days to get them approved and even the ones that approve instantly are not indexed at the same time by the search engine. This has made me shift to gradual submission of 50 per day even though I have some reservations that this may even take longer time than the previous mode of submission.

What do you think? Should I use the previous mode of submission or continue with 50 articles a day?

In addition, is there a way to track the growth of backlinks to my sites? I mean I want to be able to know the number of backlinks I have for last week, yesterday, last month and what i have so far for today or this week or month.

Just my thoughts (not sure of other sites out there)...

We get hundreds of articles daily - and to ensure they aren't 'spam', (which probably 1/3 at least are), we review each and every one. This can take hours.... to "sometimes" days, depending on when the articles are submitted. (I.e., articles submitted Mon-Fri noon generally get looked at same day on our sites, providing it isn't a holiday... weekends take a bit longer for approvals).

    My suggestion:

Go to the article sites specifically. See if they have the ability for you to sign up as something like an "expert author", rather than as a 'guest' submission. (This should be free at sites).

Example - if we have a registered author who we have seen submits quality articles, we change their account status to a higher level (free of course), so that their articles are live instantly... hence instantly accessible in the RSS feeds too.

Our current/main site does not have a registration link, its only available to authors by direct request - our upcoming/new site releasing in about 2 days DOES have this feature, of immediate registration.

Article submission software/scripts are good "usually", but yes, cause most of us site owners to manually approve each one for articles submitted this way to avoid the junk. (Believe me, the junk is *huge*)

Yes, I recognize that it might take more of your time submitting manually this way (at least for sites that offer it), but it might help you get backlinks in faster.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Amber

Just curious, how long does it take you to write 50 articles a day? What else do you have time to do? It takes me hours and hours to write 15 articles much less 50.

I think he is actually saying that the articles are released at a rate of 50 a day using UAW as oppose to writing that many a day. If you can write that many a day you must have smokin' fingers or voice recognition software

If you are able to produce 15, hand written articles per day, then you do have an impressive work ethic! With the right application, that amount of labor should go a long way.

I have to be honest, 15 a day takes me ALL day and into the majority of the night and I am so irritated that I am not worth being around, and I have only accomplished that one time.

Haha, I do this full time, so I can understand what you mean. But the difference between you and me is, since I run a professional service, I do this almost EVERY DAY. I have to admit, it's very tiring work..especially when I have to write on a variety of different topics for different clients.

You have to submit 50 plus article in one day & it has to be approved so, it consume more time.

UAW is an article spinning and submission service. It doesn't mean he writes and submits 50 articles day but the software submits 50 different versions of the same article a day instead of sending the article out to hundreds of directories in one shot.

The idea behind that is that Google penalizes sites for acquiring backlinks too fast because it's simply not natural to go from a few links to hundreds backlinks in a day.

It still depends on the current linking behavior of your site. Does it have many backlinks already and getting a lot backlinks naturally, then you increase the number of submissions because that is what is natural for your site. If it is a brand new site then you start slow and don't spam the Net with tons of mass submissions.

If you want a good piece of article submission software try taking a look at 'article submitter pro'.. its doesn't submit to directories fully automated but is pretty much most effective all round as far as i've found. It costs a few dollars but will save huge on submission time to a bunch of directories at once.

Another tool I'd recommend is article write outsourcing- if you can't find the time to crank out heaps yourself it's a great leverage point for your business.. I think 'Need-An-Article.net' provide some of the best quality articles for their price of like $5 an article. Tons of big marketers use these guys as a bit of a secret weapon

    For your info:

    ASPro is at http://www.articlesubmitterpro.com/ and

    NAA is at http://www.need-an-article.net/

All I do is submit to EzineArticles, GoArticles, IdeaMarketers and ArticleCity. That's quite enough given that you produce quality and unique articles.

My experience is that articles do get indexed fairly quickly...but you have to wait about a week or so for articles to be approved. They are very good for SEO and for some direct traffic.

Is it okay to submit same article to over 100 article directories (medium to lower quality ones) in term of search engine indexing?

Some article directories will reject your article if they find it is duplicate, as they( like many other marketing professionals) are looking for unique content.

Jet spinner/submitter is another service that is very similar to UAW. UAW actually aquired their article spinning tool from Jet Spinner.

I use both services and since both use the same spinning tool, you only have to create one seed article to use in both.

Jet submitter only post to article directories while UAW post to both blogs and article directories.

Jet Submitter approved the article directories its submits to for quality purposes, UAW doesnt.

Get more click through traffic from UAW due to articles posted to blogs and higher number of sources to post to.

Jet submitter is much cheaper at around $200 for a year while UAW is around $800 a year.

I dont think it really matters what rate you set the submission rate at. You have to consider alot of factors. The main factor would be the amount of unique articles you are submitting. I have my submission rate set between 1 - 5. You might think this is stupidly low but I have a reason. This allows the submission process to spread out over 1 or 2 years. When you consider that i have 80+ jobs running at the same time, pointing back to the same site, that is still 80+ submissions a day and now i can simply forget about using the service again for that site for another 2 years. If you set it at 50 or 100 this means you will have to remember and find the time to submit a new article week after week.

So you can either work real hard for a few days pumping out a heep of articles and set them low and forget it or set it high and just find the time to submit an article when each submission has finnished.

Other factors to consider is if you are focused more on link building or click through traffic. High for current hot news stories. Obviously if its an article about a current trend or hot topic, you dont want it still being submitted 6 - 12 months later when the news is old and illegitiment.

Writing the article syntax for the spinning software is by far the most painfull part of the whole process. This can also be sped up using article spinning software that uses the same syntax.

Hi Bob, I share your views. but I will like to know if you are stil getting result from jetsubmitter because i think that service is dead. Todd doesn't treat questions promptly and I am yet to see results of submissions I have made since last year. No, that the articles have problem. I just could not see the impact of the many articles I send through jetsubmitter. i am currently using UAW. Evenm though moirer costly, i will gladly return to jetsubmitter if thinsg imporve. Can you tell me your experience?

      thanks

I sound like you will need to be a little bit more patient. It can take a considerable amount of time before you bring to see the fruits of your labour because most reputable directories will moderate your articles before publishing them. Submitting all at once or throughout the day will make little difference to the overall effect on your site so I would do whatever is more comfortable for you.
