There is no 'right' answer for that; it depends entirely on how much you get per click, and your conversions - what percent of your visitors click on an ad.

There are keywords that will net you $10 - for that you'd only need one click. On the other hand, if you're getting 10 cents per click, you'd need 100 clicks.

Similarly, conversions can range from .01% to 50%.

my answer will also be same as bfas. Its tottaly depend on type of traffic u have. If you have traffic from us ,uk and canada then 100 uv may be enough . For indian traffic may be 5oo uv .

Depends on the content and keywords and where the traffic comes from and how much they click. I have seen thousands of visitors daily to make that much on one site, and only a few hundred visitors on another. It really depends a lot on the site, and where the traffic is coming from.

There is no specific rule set by Google that the impressions and clicks should meet a ratio. But I have learned that the CTR should be kept below 10% so that your account would stand safe.

Does that mean you had your account banned when you reached 11%?
If not, then what do you base this nonsense 10% on?

And how on earth are you going to somehow magically keep your
percentage under (or over) a certain plateau? By telling people not
to click? Or suspending your ads? Or?

      Completely illogical.

Where do you people get this stuff from?

        Hi Paul,

        Seems quite a logical question..

But google has a strange way to behave, flagging accounts at the drop of hat..
Google closes both adsense and adword accounts at their whim and fancy

Lots of factors involved like everyone has said.. However, it is not much of a stretch to say that given an average CPC of $0.50 and a CTR of 5% you need 20 clicks a day to reach $10 and that will come from 5% of your visitors. So you will need roughly 400 visitors a day on average to hit the $10 goal.

Of course CPC and CTR can vary wildly and also the myriad of other factors like content quality, Adsense placement, colours and style, number and quality of advertisers, etc can have a big impact.. So this is only rough but in my experience it isn't far of the mark for a lot of niches.
