Website articles-Blogs?

I'm currently constructing a brand new Os-commerce website. I'd like to be able to add blogs/articles to this site. My aim is to have fresh content on the site.. at the minute I don't see how I can create these new pages and get them up on my site.

All I can do is add new products to the site.

Can someone please tell me what is the best way to go about this. I'm a total newbie so please keep it simple.

Maybe just run Wordpress alongside OSCommerce in a separate folder and link the two together?

You can install wordpress on your website and always setup a blog and add content to it. You can setup a lot of posts for future dates too and set them to be posted. Its not really hard i believe if i got you right!
