Too Many LINKS on a Page? Please Tell me The "Error in my Ways"

hello warriors,

I have a blog set up that directs you to a date site advertiser....
my blog is a single page that is about 1,300 words

My Keyword Phrase(4 word) appears approx "20 times" OK, so that is about
1.5% density and I believe clearly within the Big G's acceptability range

Here's my concern;

If I make them all "hyperlink" to the same advertiser, is that "too many"
links?

or what is acceptable "density" for links?

thanks warrior mates!

Dano~

There's no magical % for keyword density. Read it through and
if it sounds like it fits, it's okay. If it sounds awkward, then it
probably sounds that way to a visitor. Think visitor. Which
    leads to the next item.

Having 20 links in context to the same page is just bad from
a visitors standpoint. If you want to send PR, then the PR
is watered down and is a moot point. Google would not really
care, either way, but man I'd hate to read an article where
every other sentence had a hyperlink in it.

Do the first one only. Then the last line is: For more info
    on blank-blank-blank, click here.

Ok point taken too many links may visually appear "spammy"

but they are not a "take away" from googles eyes?

I know you mentioned "PR" I think page rank, but your usage of the
initialization threw me off a bit....

you don't think google penalizes you for having too many links?

I don't know if Google penalizes you for too many links, but I suggest you only make it a link when you are basically telling the user to go there. Maybe once at the beginning and once at the end would be enough.

Only one link per URL per page will be counted, and the first link found tends to be what is utilized.

2 links for your content is enough and I think is the natural for google. The First link pointing on your site then the other one links on your blog.

      thank organic,

so you think google won't penalize me for having too many links on a 1,300 word "single page blog" but will only factor a single link?
may I ask where you got that idea? I couldn't find any thing referencing that particular question....

      thanks sean,

in this case I'm referring to a page on my blog, and it's actually only a single page, I guess you could refer to the page an a lander(?) or only for the purpose of a redirect as just meant to gain a visitors interest and ghet them over to the advertisers sales page

and of course my concern was having a dozen and a half links to the same advertiser on a 1,300 word page...but you know even though I don't know if big G will penalize me for that, I tend to agree that it would look "spammy" to the visitor

Well experience at first many years ago, but I asked Matt Cutts at a search conference and he set it straight, that was about 3 years ago.

You have to remember that its of no benefit to link out extensively from a weak page to start with.

But you will be able to find the same information clarified and spelled out in plain language on the Google Webmaster Tool Blog, if may be a post that is several years old but it's there...

        Best of luck

          thank you mr "guru"

just to make sure I explained things properly I meant
"hyperlinks" not "in coming" links to my "stellar" 1,300 blog!

My Blog is the "Best Blog online" that you "scruffily" referred to as a "weak page"
Ok I admit it! my blog is a "pile!" BUT it's a pile with a lot of hyperlinks!

but still I was wondering about those hyperlinks?
(I did a search for GWT but it seems most don't distinguish links from hyperlinks
and by default I assume they are referring to "regular inbound links?)
