I wouldn't recommend just "waiting it out", you may well be waiting for a long time.

Keep developing the site, create more content, build backlinks. I'm just saying doing nothing will likely bring more of the same.

You could go into webmaster tools and request a reconsideration. Let them know that you may have linked to a bad site, but you removed it.

Of course, make sure you are in total compliance.

I wouldn't suggest this with an established site. But since its new, what have you got to lose?

    Just a thought.

What kind of content do you have on your site? Is it copied or re-written or entirely unique from you?

    LOL!

Love the title of this thread. Hey, Google! Cut it out. Leave the poor guy alone.

On a side note...I have to admit that I have dominated, and been dominated by Google.

I don't think you can put much stock into a site that's only a month old. I would just look at rankings on a monthly basis as opposed to daily. And the same with traffic, is it going up steadily? While that's happening, just continue to build links and build content.

Once your site gets established, that stuff happens less and less.

It often happens with new site when you try to get rank on specific keywords. Links coming with same anchor texts looks artificial. I will suggest you to create quality content and build link with diversity. You can submit reconsideration request as well.

Google has been adjusting their way of ranking sites over the last month. Smaller and newer sites are jumping all over the rankings right now. Just work on making it a quality site with unique content. Then work to get quality links to the authority sites in your niche. Check to see if you are linking to places that you don't want to be associated with (all links are not good links). Load up on the original content and be careful about crazy linking combination strategies. Try posting to some quality forums in your niche with helpful advice/information. It can take a little while, but building value in your site is always the best approach.

Sounds like fun.. LOL I would say figure out what is "sandbagging" and just stop doing what is getting you penalized .. I know .. simple common sense but this may help.
