I was checking stats for my weight loss site, and i see i got 260 clicks yesterday which is SIGNIFICANTLY more than i had any other day.

The page CTR is 160%!! More clicks than actual page loads.

I am a little freaked out...what should i do? Contact Google?

Edit: Ok..it doesnt seem to be my weight loss site, someone bombarding an ancient insurance blogspot site i have and didn't even know i still had.

That sounds like someone trying to sabotage your Adsense account. In my opinion, I would definite contact them explaining the situation; probably your best move right now.

you should immidiatly inform google about this incident if you want to prevent your account from permanent block. adsense has blocked many accounts withought notice if they found any illegal activity with account .

google has smart technology to determine fraud clicks though as a honest publisher you should inform google about the incident. adsense will not count that click .

I wouldn't think google would think that was you trying to defraud them. That is just a ridiculously number of clicks.

Definitely let them know though. They can track down the IP address and hopefully determine it is a competitor. It would be nice for them to let you know the address so you can block it in the future.

    UPDATE

    Of course i contacted Google.

Anyway, i am quite sure that i know who it is, and there is also a remote chance that the person is reading this thread.

( There are other things going on right now, eg. i get really "odd" spam emails sent to me every day )

    Here is the deal:

    To that person, a warning:

I know you are cookie stuffing. You are aware that if i report you to Clickbank they will can your account and any other account with it? You are really that naive and childish and want to risk your whole business with that crap?

Then go ahead and send me more spam and click on my ads...please...!

    Georg.
