difficulty in ranking

my site is appearing on 4th place for a keyword but using proxy my site is at 11th place.I want to rank the site according to proxy results how should i do the work on this.Anyone can help me in this matter?

  • Get some high PR backlinks to your site. I made 2 PR2, 2 PR3 and 3 PR4 backlinks to a couple of my sites last night that were at the bottom of the first page and now my sites are in the top 3 this morning;-) You just got to get the right backlinks.

    • get some not some but many good quality back links from high pr and relevant sites.Do article submission as article submission is very important for increasing the back links and the traffic.
      Submit bookmark in the do follow bookmarking sites this way you will get your keywords high in the search engine rankings.
      Exchange links with the high pr websites and high pr blogs.
  • I think you are talking about local search rankings, your domain also plays an important role in this case, do you have a domain like .com, .net, .org or do you have country specific domain like .ca, .in, .nl etc... because when you search using a proxy your I.P changes to a different country and so the search rankings will fluctuate
    Also, as stated above back links from high pr sites really makes a difference
