A few words of advice is needed re CB sniper sites

Hi guys,

This is my first post on here so go easy

Ok so about 3 weeks ago I was introduced to affiliate marketing via Google sniper 2.0 and immediately set off following mr browns rules. I have now put 5 sites up all within low keyword competition niches (3 health, 2 games).

The first site is hovering around position 3-8 on google.com and the rest are hovering around page 3-8 after being indexed somewhere between 2 weeks and 4 days ago.

So what advice do I want?

1. how long should I expect sites to take to settle on google after dancing?
2. are social bookmarks only good for getting indexed faster or are they important to seo?
3. I have subscribed to angelas backlinks at $5pm but can build a new site faster than I can apply 30 of her backlinks so who would you recommend me outsource backlinking to and how much do they charge etc?
4. any tips for a new GSniper?

Thanks very much for any advice

Dan

Hi Dan, welcome to this forum! I'll answer your questions below:

1.) This depends completely on the age of your site, what kind of linkbuilding strategy you're using, the competitiveness of your keywords and several other factors, so nobody is going to be able to give you a 100% straight answer to that.

One tip from my side: Build link pyramids instead of linking everything directly to your money page, that way dancing will happen less severely. I'm currently writing a free report on that, pm me if you want it.

2.) They help with getting indexed but not so much for seo power. If your content is interesting though, it will get picked up on these sites and you could receive direct traffic from there. It requires some good and unusual content though to be voted up on such sites.

3.) Yeah, offpage seo can be an annoying, slow and mind-numbing thing for sure and if you have the budget or your time is worth to you more than money, you should definitely outsource that part and focus on your sites and campaigns. There are lots of people around offering backlinking services but I can't recommend you anyone specifically, since I offer such services as well.

4.) Go for higher-traffic and more competitive terms. The sniper model relies largely on low-traffic, low competition longtails and it will require a good bunch of sites to earn any significant income. See how far you can go with your own seo, at some point you'll find that you hit a roadblock and then you know what kind of competition lies out of your range. Then you should stick to everything less competitive or seek the help of seo experts.

    Hope that helps!

Yeah dont do low competition keywords, its a waste of money. Let these 3 sites be your last 3 sites for low comp keywords. Learn what it takes to get these 3 sites to the first page and then go after medium competition keywords. With all the backlinking, content creation, and domain registrations you will not make money with low comp sniper sites.

As to getting your 3 low comp sites on the first page......Go buy high PR blog comment lists and manually build a few PR3-PR5 dofollow comment links and your 3 new sites will be on the first page of Google within a week, with no dancing;-)

          cheers realecon.

My current sites (5) are all in niches that have 3-8k global searches per month, but less that 15k competing sites for my chosen keyword. Are you suggesting that I target keywords with 20k+ searches pm and work hard on the backlinks to overthrow maybe 100k competing sites?

I have purchased angelas backlinks and have around 50 pr4-6 places to put my links etc. Is that the same as a dofollow blog comment list? And when you say a few do you mean 5-10 or hundreds?

          Cheers

Angelas packets are forum profile links, the page you leave your link on will be PRn/a or PR0 at best. Yeah the domain will be PR6 or PR7 but who cares for the amount of time it takes to drop links in forum profiles you could be dropping comment links on high PR blog pages.

Heres a little secret people wont tell you........you want your link to be on a high PR page;-) PR2 or higher. The reason peoples sites dance is because they build PRn/a and PR0 links to their sites often times en mass with software. So Google search, "high on page pr dofollow blog list", find a seller with good feed back and buy their list. Then go make some comments and drop your sites link with keyword anchor text. If you are on the 3rd or 4th page already than 5-10 PR3-PR5 backlinks should get you ranking well on the first page.

For me to explain competition to you it would take a while. Competition is not only about how many people are searching for a keyword or how many backlinks a competitor has. There are some low search long tail keywords for payday and hotels that are medium competition words because of the CPC.

I would learn everything I can about backlinking all the different kinds and what has been peoples experiences with them, I would also go hang over at backlinksforum to learn it fast. You will then be able to pick higher competition keywords that you can realistically backlink and start making good money.

Funny, I can't get a backlink to stick for the life of me. I comment on blogs ranking from 2 - 6 PR, forum posting, etc and absolutely nothing is showing up after weeks and months. I could understand if I were posting garbage spam comments like I see everywhere but I'm not.

Additionally, somehow I've gotten backlinks from sites I've never heard of so that's kind of cool...but what the heck is going on?

    * One more thing...I make sure the sites I go to are dofollow hence the frustration.

The link of great joy and happiness...but this one? This is the one that all window cleaning companies in the free world are inspired by. Hey, where did the sarcasm font go?

Ok I can do that. Do the high PR blogs themselves need to be related to my niche or does it not matter?

Hi Dan, welcome to sniper(ing) :-)

I purchased George's original program (version 1 of what you have) back when it was first launched. The course material was really eye opening for me. At about the same time I also was reading the original XFactor thread here at WF. Those two resources kick started a passion for doing what I'm doing today and were responsible for the fact that today I can live and support my family solely on the income I generate from IM.

However, at that time when I first started, I found that for me, the critical thing that was missing from the course, was a competent set of software programs to put George's teachings and technques into action (beyond, "install WordPress, Install the inove theme and cash the checks").

That experience resulted in the creation of ClickBump Engine and my suite of software products that followed.

So the one piece of advice I would give you, beyond conduct very thorough niche research to pick winners and weed out the losers, is to invest in a competent set of tools, whether it be mine or someone else's, so that you can maximize your profits, rankings and conversions.
