Can't decide between SB or AMR...What is the strongest backlink: comments or article submissions?

Hi guys I want to give my web 2.0 sites and articles on article directories a boost and make them show up high in the search engines but I seriously can’t decide between Scrapebox and Article marketing Robot.

Both tools are great from what I’ve heard and both tools do completely different stuff as AMR focuses on article submissions and Scrapebox on blog commenting. I know Scrapebox has other tools too but I don’t bother with them. I’m only interested in the auto blog poster.

I want to base my purchasing decision solely on the type of backlinks I will be getting as I can’t decide what type of backlinks I should be going after… blog comments or article submissions?

What type of backlink hold the strongest value and are most effective in your opinion to increase rankings?

Obviously most of them are PR0-backlinks as the inner pages are of little value but still if you had to choose just one type of backlink, which one would you choose?

Mass article submissions or blog comments? or in other words: Should I buy AMR or Scrapebox? Which one would you pick? And why?

Hope someone can help me decide... I've been breaking my head over this all day.

    Katya, SB is good...BUT....

If anyone tells you its even remotely effective to spam zillions of Wordpress blogs....they have no clue...

Wordpress is all no-follow, comments rarely go through spam filters.

I personally think AMR beats SB by a long shot when it comes to the actual links.

Scrapebox is (very) good for many things but not primarily for "spamming comments" and building valuable links. SB is more the tool for finding sites using foot prints, testing proxies, finding blogs to post manually...things like that and much more.

Thank you for your reply. SB is good as it has tons of other valuable features. And lol no I won't bother with wordpress as I'm aware it's no follow, but I've heard Scrapebox submits to Blogengine.NET blogs as well and those are do-follow and auto-approved (or at least most of them I think:confused. To be honest I'm not very keen on spamming blogs but it seems to work (not sure if it will still work after google's algorithm change though)

I also hope SB submits to blogs that have been abandoned for the most part and are not updated anymore.

Anyway if I get you right you choose IMR over SB when it comes to getting massive auto-backlinks?

If all you are going to use Scrapebox for is the blog commenting, you are probably better off going with AMR for now.

I am not one who believes that no-follow links are worthless. I think they are just as valuable as any other link. And even if you do think they are worthless, you should still be adding plenty of them. If all you have are do-follow backlinks, you are leaving a big fat red flag hanging out for Google to take a look at.

AMR is awesome. Best program of its kind. Same with Scrapebox. With Scrapebox, you don't have to be a spammer. You can do manual comments, just using Scrapebox to find blogs with specific footprints, pagerank, etc.

I love Scrapebox. Like it so much I recently bought a second license. I don't think you can go wrong with either tool.

However, rather than trying to choose a tool, I think you should first develop a solid backlinking plan. Then pick the tool that makes the most sense for your plan. It sounds like you are trying to pick the tool first, and then develop a plan around that. None of the tools out there are a one-button magic bullet to get you great rankings.

I agree with the posts above. I'm not a comment spammer, but Scrapebox has a lot of other benefits...One is finding good resources to manually post comments on.

AMR is also very good at what it does...

IMO, I'd really try to get both if possible. Add in Bookmarking Demon and you're in pretty good shape as a pro SEOer.

Thanks for your input. Yeah will definitely get Scrapebox in the near future but I think after debating about it Article Marketing Robot suits my needs best, at least for now.

AMR is way better but scrapebox is quite useful for other reasons that blog commenting. I use a lot of the other features to help me out but for backlinks, not really helpful.

AMR is absolutely awesome, you will have at least 500 successful submissions (with live links too!) no matter what your article is about. To make the most of it, you should wait a few days for your articles to be approved, take the live links and try to get all of them indexed using something like backlinkbooster.com.

As for SB, I just purchased it today and I am looking forward to put it to work... I also have SB Domination and SB Master Guide, it seems like these are the 2 most useful courses on the market and they really teach you a lot of things about how to use SB efficiently.

I think now I have everything I really need to take my websites to the top

Just remember that with AMR you can only get a certain amount of links. I mean if you keep submitting articles to the same directories with the same money page links in them then youre just getting links from duplicate ip's.

You can get about 300 to 500 links from unique ip's each time you use AMR so use it on each page you want to promote. And then move on. With Scrapebox you can buy dofollow lists when ever you want and use those lists on your money sites which will give you more and more backlink diversity. You really need to get both AMR and SB. But for the best bang for your buck I would say go with AMR first.

Firstly, not "all" wordpress blogs are nofollowed. Secondly, I suppose it depends on if you think, perceive, or have seen evidence that contradicts the nofollow=novalue mantra.

You can count the blog-engine blogs you can post to with 5 fingers

Seriously..if i do a search with SB...i can enter all kinds of keywords...it ALWAYS comes up with the same few blog-engine blogs.

I really dont think that SB (blog commenting) is useful at all for the purpose of link building, there are way better methods.

If i do blog comments (which is very rare)..than usually manual comments on good PR blogs which are DoFollow..then SB is good to find them.. but those blogs are very, very rare. You would be a fool to spam a high PR blog with a spun trash comment. Its hard enough to get even legit comments through sometimes, stupid Akismet spam filter.

RealEcon, i usually get 1300 submissions with AMR, how many of them stick i dont know. So or so..for the price unbeatable.

Katya, you REALLY want to look into blog networks too!

ALN (authority link network) or articleranks <--- both very good!

ALN is free if you can put in some high PR blogs of your own, articleranks is monthly $39 or "pay as you go". Both can really help with rankings.

Alternatively, hire some $5 Senuke Gigs from fiverr! I know some people who do great jobs with it.
