i badly need help with seo

hey guys i need help with seo, i could work 8 hours a day but they could go to waste. When they say, that blog is pr 6 if you comment , the problem is that it's the homepage that is pr 6. Your comment will be pr 0 no?

anyways guys, i need badly tips for seo. Tips on article marketing, social bookmarking ,etc. I have an affiliate site (kinda) and I wanna rank these reviews on google!!!!!!!!

    Well, you need to find some blogs that have comments on the same page and high PR.

    Try some link wheels, press releases and articles... don't forget to use social bookmarks.

      Hi Fazal,

      Here a couple of tips :

      1. Make sure you spread your source of incoming links around.
      In other words, don't have all your incoming links from one link type. BigG doesn't like this.

      So have links that come from
      a. Articles
      b. Blog comments
      c. Blog comments
      d. Videos
      e. Social Bookmarketing
      f. Yahoo Answers
      g. Profile links
      etc etc etc

      So how to do it:
      a. Write some 500-700 word articles and submit to EzineArticles.com, GoArticles & ArticleBase.com

      b. Go to Google and type in "Guest Blogger welcome"+Your Keyword
      It will return a list of blogs that are looking for guest bloggers. Then write some decent quality articles and submit them to those blogs. Keep the content unique from blog to blog

      c. Use google to find keyword related blogs and leave comments on them
      Using google, type in +"leave a comment" +Your keyword -"Comments are closed"

      d. Make some simple videos using Windows Movie Maker and submit to Youtube. Make sure you include your full URL in the video description. Yes, its is a nofollow link, but google still follws that link and its still counted in the variety of sources coming to your site

      e. Use sites like twitter, digg, rededit etc.

      f. Use yahoo answer, its pretty simple

      g. On the various forums you are registered on, edit your profile and add a link into your profile

      Everytime you create a link on the web, i would suggest you ping that link. I like Pingoat.com, but other may suggest PingOMatic.com

    Before you do any seo, make sure you have laser targeted focus on your long tail key word/words that you want to rank for

    Also don't overlook on page seo- it compliments off site seo and together will get you right where you are looking to be

    Bruce has given a great overview of SEO the only thing I would add would be pop ya video onto pixlepipe not just youtube..... you will need to register at each site, but you can always outsource this task for a minimal amount, and once your registered you can add all your videos!

    PS Also, your article on ezine will need traffic, I would perhaps use PPV to get enough sets of eyes on your article to make sure its in the most viewed of your chosen category

    To find the high pr pages on which I can comment I follow the following procedure.
    I have installed firefox addon "seo quake" in my browser.
    First I find a dofollw blog which is relavant to my site. Than I go to Google the phrase (site:"sitename.com") now Google will show me all the pages of this blog and seo quake will tell me the PR of each page. Now, I will open the high PR pages comment on them and get a backlink.

    PR means pagerank. The PR of the homepage of a site is not the same as the other pages. Don't get bother with that.
