Hey guys,

I'm looking for free press release sites that allow to put links with anchor text in the body of the content/context that do not charge money. Like PR Log only they do not use anchor text and links.

Anyone cares to share a list? I saw some but it costs money to place a link on them.

Thank you.

Just an FYI about PRLog.org -- It's true that you can't use anchor links. But you can use up to 3 raw or plain links (with the "http://" inlcuded) in the body of the text that will be LIVE when placed after the first 200 characters.

They may not be as desireable as anchor links, but they're still backlinks from a PR6 site, and they DO have SEO value.

For additional SEO punch, you can also use plain links to backlink to your interior pages (for example: http:// website.com/article-name-goes-here/) instead of just the main domain URL.

I've used PRlog and am happy with them, but would really like to find the best press release site for anchor text links - do you have a recommendation? I don't mind paying $20-30, but I'm only finding ones in the $50+ range, and that's a bit steep for me. Thanks!

Trouble is many of those sites do not permit links in the body at all. Maybe one link in the footer for the "About" section but thats it.
