    • Keyword density percentage times a word or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. • Just put at least one keyword on every paragraph of your content. It enough.

    • I have read somewhere is "the old keyword density calculation is the new proximity calculation.
->If the keyword isn't on the page - it isn't going to rank well (or at all) for that keyword.
->If the keyword isn't in the title of the page, it is going to be tougher to rank for that keyword.
->If the keyword isn't in the url, the task becomes more difficult.

So focus more on writing good relative content, proper page structure and decent link building than keyword density.1-10% is good enough.
  • is the measurement of how frequently any given keyword appears within a web page. Too high a density can result in a web page being classified as spam while too low a density will cause a page to not be indexed as well for the given keyword.
  • Try to include your main keyword in the page title.

Then include your main keyword 2-4 times per 100 words, and in bold at least on one occassion.

Use your secondary keywords 1-2 times too.

  • I think Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.
  • i have seen many pages on top 10 with any keyword in their content. main thing how much how you are concentrate by all seo strategy.
  • Don't get mad at keyword density. I prefer to include related keywords based on Google Wonder Wheel.
  • According to various SEO programs, 1 to 4% is good. More looks like keyword stuffing. Plus it is important to have your keyword included within the first 50 words of each page (not including the title tags, H1, h2 etc) Also don't forget to include it in the last 50 words, image titles, video titles etc

  • Just make sure your keyword is in your title, URL and the article

But if you are writing about "blue prom dress"
Find 3-4 very related keywords to this like
    "baby blue prom dress"
    "ice blue prom dress"

But use your main keyword and put it into googleadwordskeywordtool and find related keywords wich people are searcing for, beacause you can drive more traffic by targeting 3-4 keywords in one article, and you just make backlink to the 3-4 different keywords and you main keyword to the article.
  • I stick with around 2%. If it is press releases or content offsite then I will go with about 4-5%.
  • 2-5% is ok as I know
