Imagine your at page1, position2 and you can't get passed nr1.

Okay this suggestion is a little bit black hat!

Shoot a couple of immens cheap 50.000 backlink packages at him with the most crappyest link you can imagine and wait till Google penalizes or even worse sandboxes him.

And then in a few weeks he comes back to where he was and then you'll never unseat him.

    Terrible idea.

Stop posting all this false information please.

First, as mgtarheels said, the only thing that would happen is that the optimization for his site would become stronger. Perhaps a question of 'would this happen?' would have been more in order, as you really don't seem to know what you're talking about. You think a 50k blast would get you sandboxed or deindexed? I've sent blasts of 150k back in the day to some of my sites. Worst that ever happened was I was in the supplemental results for a week or so, then popped back up higher than before...

Second, and more importantly, why in the world would you be posting a "black hat suggestion" here?! If you really are into that and want to learn about and implement that stuff, there are plenty of popular black hat forums out there...

What if that didn't work and you are still at number 2 position? Anymore plan B tricks?

I don't mind black hat, so long as it's creative.

*Google has said time and again that nothing another webmaster does short of black hat hacking will damage your rankings*

Particularly when it comes from inbound link spamming. I concur with the above Warriors, this information is false.

No. Not really other than more agressive SEO.
Ever sat #2 behind a wiki or ehow page?

        TRUE.
That is a creative exception, but you win (also partially because I am somewhat threatened by your bowtie, tophat and condescending gaze).

They weren't penalized, they were just put back to their SERPs before they used such techniques. It was found that JCP was doing it themselves through a company, not a competitor to another.

I agree that just building links will only help the competition in the long run.

Has anyone ever built massive links to a competition, with a fake keyword that Google wouldn't like as an anchor-text, maybe a porn keyword or something like chatroulette[dot]com as the anchor -text & the actual URL pointing to your own competition?

Looks like you could get a list of 200+ (Google) blocked Safe-Search sites from the cookie that Google sets on your PC when running Safe-Search.

I just wonder If you associate your competition with a Safe-Search blocked site If anything would happen & they dropped in the SERPs.

Why dont you use Spyglass or another type of softwear to check out his backlinks and then see why he is holding rank over you once you know where his backlinks are coming from you can then create backlinks on the same sites. If you create more of the same you will over turn him.
