Best way to track your SEO efforts for your clients?

Hi fellow warriors,

I've managed to get a few clients for SEO work and what i'm doing currently is sending a monthly report to them explaining what i've done etc..

My question is, how do you track your seo efforts? like to see if they are converting better, etc..

Do you use google analytics and add specific goals? or do you use SEO software like SEOmoz or Raventools?

Just looking for some advise on the best places to go to monitor everything effectively.

    Google analytic is adequate to help your project. It offer strong feature rather than other tools

      I would use a rank tracker such as: CuteRank or Market Samurai. Also, I would show them the traffic increase in Google Analytics.

    Like others have mentioned, I also use Rank Tracker and Market Samurai to track things. You can also use SEO Spyglass which is awesome.
