2000 back links a day for 3 years?

I'm using market samurai and one of my sites biggest competitors has over 2.7 million external links pointing to his site.

I did a quick calculation based on when the site was launched and this averages out to 2826 backlinks per day.

I thought Google penalized this sort of thing?

    Yeah, It is true that google may be penalized your site. But if you have make backlink according to site niche than there minimum chance to penalty.

    Its spam because don't try to get a huge backlinks in less then 1 month. Seo is long term process.
