Beat SuperPages and Dex?

Hi,

I'm building a WP site for a friend who is a tile contractor, and most of the local competition is Dex, Superpages, and a couple of other generic listing type pages.

Are these pretty easy to outrank in Google results if I use standard white-hat SEO or am I embarking on a losing mission?

    Yes.You need to go with proper white hat process to get the outrank position in Google and get back link with high PR with do-follow.
