Search Engine Differential

Recently I created a website that has gotten to page 1 for multiple low competition search terms on google.

However, I am not in the top 100 for bing or yahoo. Is this normal. I am always told to just focus in on google. But for these terms I think the demographic of Yahoo and bing would suit it better.

The question... do I need to do anything diffrent to make yahoo and bing like the site?

  • Google care more about links than the others so maybe you need to get more relevant content on your site to get their attention if you've mainly focused on link building.

    • Its mostly content, Ive gotten a few high PR links but not more than five. I spent less than two hours backlinking. The site is realativly new, could that be the issue?

  • Haha - yeah...
  • It takes a bit longer for Yahoo and Bing to index your site. Google is much faster. It should show up soon
