Things to remember while backlinking

Hi all,

Recently, while building back links, I kept on getting banned from some forums. Upon doing some research, I found out that my ip has flagged as a spammer ip and hence the ban (We have a number of computers in our office, so any computer I use, the ip is the same). Can anyone advise me on things to remember while back linking?

(Lets assume that my comments are engaging and not spammy and I don't place the back links in my signature immediately. I usually put the back links after reaching about 15 posts)

1) Should I use only one forum id or multiple ids?
2)If I'm using multiple forum id's, should I create multiple email accounts for all of them or use just one?
3) Can I use a proxy server?

Please advise.

  • You can participate on any number of forums, the thing you have to remember is you have to read the guidelines of the forums what u participate. You have to post relevant thread in the relevant category. Just you have to answer for the other threads posted by the people.
  • If you have done some spams posting on forum then they will ban you. There is no solution for getting back to that forum because they have your URL info. According to that they will ban all the other account. Only way is to find other forums and don't do spamming.
  • NO, you just have to be genuine with your information which ever been posted by you at any point of time in any forum.
  • You can use as much forums as you want for promoting your business. There have no limitations. But, for good result from any forum you should read their terms and conditions properly. Do relevant reply and make interesting and valuable thread.

For banned forum you can use proxy.

    • The best way to join forum community is think of joining because you want to be a part of that community and not to build back links. Natural strategies are always the best strategies.
  • The only way is to find another forum, there is no way of getting back to that particular forum site if you get banned.
  • I join communities and try to be valuable parts of them. People visit my sig more when I do that as well as my accounts tend to stay active.

    • you must have been spamming them pretty good to get flagged...

either that or you're hitting a network of forums that all communicate with eachother or are related or owned by the same people...

If you're going to spam heavily, use proxies.
