Article Linking Strategies

Hey guys, I recently started to promote my websites using Article Marketing Robot for SEO. My question is...

Is there any special advice for linking? What I'm doing right now is linking to my home page in the first link, and a subpage in the second link, varying the anchor texts (AMR is great for this!). My question is...

1) Any special linking strategies? Such as perhaps linking to a squidoo lens that links to your site.

2) What is the optimal submission schedule? Right now I am doing 100 submissions every 8 hours. Also, should I wait until my first article is done submitting before beginning the submissions for the second article, or should I just begin submitting all articles once they have completed being written.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Google's recent "farmer / panda" algorithm update has casted a shadow over most content marketing strategies. We will not suggest depending too much on this plan. Its better too do every thing manually.

Though to share some tips about buying cheap shoes this holiday season - if you like shopping :)

what's the difference between submitting to 100 sites every 8 hours manually, or having a software submit 100 sites every 8 hours with unique content and unique titles?

There isn't. Google released an update and per usual, people have completely overreacted.

I did a video post on AMR that may be useful. (Shameless self promotion)

If you watch the video and have any additional questions, I would be more than happy to answer.

Thanks! Where can I find this video?

          Edit: Checked out your blog

It is rather introductory, so I am sure you will have some follow up questions on some more sophisticated linking strategies.

              Nice video.

Do you wait until are the submissions are complete for an article before starting submission of your second article, or do you start a new article submission in the middle of the first article still being submitted (if that makes any sense)

Also bookmarked your blog, looks like some other cool videos.

No, you can submit multiples at once. I do all of mine on a timer, typically 50-100 every 24 hrs.
Remember, it is still smart to manually submit to the higher quality directories. The update has devalued link juice in certain areas but high quality/unique article submissions will always be of value.

I love AMR, and I'll give you the strategy that I use as part of my total linking strategy. And I do manually submit to the bigger article directories.

                  1. I usually do 1 submission per week per site. I'll do 2 if I am really trying to build links quickly, but no more than that.

                  2. I only sign up with the directories that have a PR of 1 or higher. I don't want or need thousands of backlinks each week.

                  3. I randomly select only 100-200 directories out of the list to submit to. This way I get links from different sites each week and it makes it look a bit more natural to Google and it seems to make the links stick a bit better.

                  4. I submit to all at once because most of the directories are not auto approve anyways. And, since it really does not matter when you submit an article, but when it is approved, I just find it easier to submit all at once.

                  5. Once a month I will create an RSS feed of the links and submit it to feedburner and the top RSS directories.

I've been trying to determine the best way to market my articles and this strategy seems to be pretty solid. Thank you for sharing - especially for those of us who can't leave a program running the background 24/7. lol

                    Kurt,

                    Good tips, bro.

Should you submit unique content or original content to the selected directories?
