My website got indexed with no Description!??

All my site shows is,

"MyDomain.com"

It should be showing,

"MyDomain.com"
This is an example of a description.

Can anyone help me out here? What did I do wrong?

If you can link to your site, I would be able to take a look at your code, you might have a broken carrot or something.

Look at your source code for that page, then do a page search for this keyword nosnippet .

If the keyword (nosnippet) is in a meta tag like this:

Code:

<meta name="googlebot" content="nosnippet">

Or, similar it will block Google from showing a Description in the SERPs.

Use a metatag analysis tool (like those at Top SEO Tools: The best free Meta Tag Analysis tools on the web! ) to check that your description tag is intact.

The only reason it would make your site rank more poorly is because you don't get the benefit of keywords in your description. The simple fact that the description isn't there probably isn't a factor.

  Could there be a chance that the website isn't indexed yet?
  
  But for some reason It shows "Mydomain.com" on page 5.

  I searched my code and I don't find "No snippet" anywhere.
