Re:Adsense Template

Hi all,

I found a great Adsense template that I am considering using to create my four niche websites. The nav on the right could go on the left instead of on the right of the page, and the 160X600 ad block would take its place appearing more above the fold to the right of each article page on the sites. Let me know what you warriors think. See the template I am refering at the link below:

  • Seems like the sort of site google is destined to love with it's cookie cutter format and non unique content. Be sure to buy some backlinks packs to prop it up. "Foreclosure is becoming a reality for more and more Americans, and thousands of others are finding it difficult to make monthly payments." - Google Search Also love how friggin wordpress gives you multiple urls to the same content.

    • I am aware I would have to make some changes to the layout to make it a little more unique, and I am also aware of the content duplication issues that arise when using WordPress. I have a remedy for all of that. Also, I am aware that I need unique content. The site I have shown is not mine, I will be using it to have my programmer custom code my WordPress template with some changes to make it look and feel more unique.
  • Looks like it should produce a pretty good CTR.
  • Add a block at the end of the article.

    • I am going to add an ad block centered at the end of each article, and I am going to use a custom header graphic. Do any of you have any suggestions for how I could make the template more unique and less cookie cutter? I really like the template, but I want to have my programmer increase its width and height. I also like the fact that it's coded clean. I want to place the nav elements on the left of the template, instead of on the right, and I want to move up the 160X600 ad unit at the bottom in its place. Let me you what you fellows think.
  • Blue Links, not Red Links. Red means warning and usually has a lower CTR than blue Ads.

    • Yes I know. I have purchased Joel Comm's book: Adsense Code, so I am familiar with the fact that blue links have a higher CTR than most other colors. I am just using the layout of that website as an example of what I want my Adsense theme to look like.
