How long does it take for backlinks to show up?

I got a couple link packages from Fiverr on the 8th of this month, and not a single one has shown up yet according to yahoo site explorer, SEscout, and backlinkwatch. One link package was a pyramid type deal, the other was 200 social bookmarks, and the other was an article of mine spun and submitted to a bunch of article directories.

In fact, SEscout showed one in-link yesterday. Today it shows none.

Anyone know what the deal is?

While some of the links might get indexed themselves, some others need extra work.

- Ping all pages
- Create RSS, and submit them

It usually takes 2 min to 2 hours to index about 2-60% of my backlinks using these methods.

  That sounds like such a pain to do for hundreds and hundreds of links.
