means the crawlers are not picking your profile link. and that you might not have done what you have to do. if you have profile somewhere, have you posted with that profile or have you posted a link to your profile to a page that's frequented by crawlers?

for me i always save a list of my profile links and upload them directly into tom's backlink booster. It will automatically ping, rss and post them on web 2.0 sites to boost the linkjuice and increase indexation rate. There are other products like sean's backlink boost and another one called backlink energizer which all do the same job. It really works in getting the profile links indexed

If your links aren't getting indexed then they probably aren't that great to start with. They must be pretty well hidden on a site to stay away from the crawlers.

Check the pages you are having issues with and make sure there is nothing there to keep the spiders away. Webmasters are getting pretty clever these days...

What do you mean by indexed? You mean the page they are on is not found in the Google index?

A link does not have to be from an indexed page to count in your link profile. There are zillions of links to peoples sites that you can't find in Google searches. Does not mean they are not influencing your ranking though, they just need to be found by the googlebot.

@jazbo - That's what he means, his links aren't being picked up by Googlebot, i.e not being indexed/crawled. If they haven't been indexed then they aren't counting the links as votes.

Try using Backlink Energizer or if that doesn't work try converting your profile links to rss feeds using Links2rss and submit your rss feeds to different aggregators, you can also bookmark them and ping them using PingFarm.

You can just wait until Google index your profile links. It will take quite a long time for your links to be indexed.
