  • i don't think this carries much weight.

    but i know there are hosting services that will not block your whois info but just will replace it with theirs. it's a legal service to control privacy. so i don't see anything wrong with it. otherwise ALL domains hosting on a particular service provider will be seen to be for one owner....now will google say they are all spammers? doesn't make sense.

    so instead of using hosts that block your whois, use hosts that will just replace it. like DreamHost. They are a reliable host.

    21. Be aware that by using services that block domain ownership information when you register a domain, Google might see you as a potential spammer. now that many registrars are offering this service for a fee - i can not see google penalizing for it ???
