Hello there guys,

So I found this thread a few hours ago that was unanswered (on another forum) and it seemed interesting enough if someone could reply to all the questions!

So, we are trying to promote (in this example) a teeth whitening kit CPA offer. We are starting with 2 sites (in order to cover every option) 1 will be the main site that promotes the offer (maybe just the landing page, so basically just an image promo) and the other site will be a review site for our original site or at least the site that will link to our main offer website.

So I am starting with a few of my questions now:

1. Should we choose are domains based on our keywords?

2. How can we find out secondary etc keywords? Any good programs/sites/tools we can use for that? I mean I know my main keywords are "teeth whitening" but I guess we need more right?

3. Now that we found our keywords (does it matter how many they are?) what kind of content should we put in our #2 website? Write or hire someone to write articles based on those keywords or something else like submit those articles (or different ones) to article directories etc and link back to our website?

4. How should we set up the website? Single page one or multiple pages (like how many pages and what is a must like Terms of Service page (just saying..)) and how should each page looks like and what should it have?

5. Now that I think we covered all the basic Qs regarding the content (If I am forgetting something please let me know!) we will start with the promotion/SEO. Both are new domains (I guess we are only going to work with #2), should we start link building right away (1st-3rd day since registration) etc or will there be any problems like g sanbox us etc?

6. So from when should we start working on our domains and what kind of work should we do. I mean do we buy for example a pack of 20k backlinks PR0-7 or blog commenting, bookmarks, etc or a mix of that? Also how can we be sure that we got what we paid for? What do we have to check out for?

7. If we do backlinks is it a good idea to ping them back with a software? I heard there is a faster + better result if you do so.

8. How fast should we expect to see results and how can we check out the results (like is there a program to lets us know for which keywords we rank and where so we can check that weekly or daily or something)?

9. How often do we need to add new content and maybe more backlinks again? Should we use the same service (aka possible same links) or new service with possibly different links?

Let me know if you can help out with the Qs
Thank you,
Tom

    1. obviously!

    2. the google keyword tool give a lot of variations. you can pick on each keyword google gives you and try to find more synonyms for the variations individually.

    3. doesn't matter how many keywords you have. what matters is how relevant each keyword is and the competition on that particular keyword. you have to choose the keywords with high search counts and low intitle-optimised sites for them. forget about article directories. even the new google algorithm has hurt them already. what you can do is to write your articles yourself, place them on your site (should be keyword rich but relatively low keyword density if it makes sense at all) and try to get links from related sites to your articles instead. best solution!

    4. single page for the promo site is ok. other page can be multiple pages with reviews on other similar products with your product included of course. the page should have a theme based on your teeth product. so toothbrushes, tootpaste, water? you can have good stock images for these.

    5. about content...get UNIQUE content. you can start back linking anytime but the earlier, the better. you won't get sandboxed.

    6. start working now. actually that depends on you. when you want to start. start designing your website. build them with wordpress. start buying/collecting stock images. DON'T buy backlinks, you'll be wasting your time and money and it's also not ethical. do blog commenting...quality comments i mean, social bookmarking, posting in forums your signature, etc. check out in your analytics if you get the traffic from the backlinks and check alexa to see how your ranking is doing. you can also use webmaster tools to see your backlinks and where you content is.

    7. yes.

    8. if you do everything everyday, like do some good work everyday, you should expect real good results withing 2-3 months (note i'm not about whitehat way of doing things...). you can use google analytics and webmaster tools to check everything you want to daily, weekly or whatever.

    9. do backlinks almost everyday as much as possible. you can add one new content every week at least. no problem. same service, same links.

    all the best.

    1. Should we choose are domains based on our keywords?

    - Yes! Try to get your keywords as the first part of the domain if at all possible. You can make if plural (teethwhitenings.com) follow it with a word (teethwhiteningsite.com, teethwhiteningreview.com, teethwhiteningshop.com, teethwhiteninginfo.com, etc.), or a random letter (teethwhiteningv.com). Just make sure that your keyword is at the beginning of your domain.

    2. How can we find out secondary etc keywords? Any good programs/sites/tools we can use for that? I mean I know my main keywords are "teeth whitening" but I guess we need more right?

    - Google external keyword tool is a great place to start. Market Samurai is great if you have the budget. If it is only a few page site, you will only need 2 or three keywords. If you are trying to build more of an authority site, you will need more.

    3. Now that we found our keywords (does it matter how many they are?) what kind of content should we put in our #2 website? Write or hire someone to write articles based on those keywords or something else like submit those articles (or different ones) to article directories etc and link back to our website?

    - I would put the articles on your site directly.

    4. How should we set up the website? Single page one or multiple pages (like how many pages and what is a must like Terms of Service page (just saying..)) and how should each page looks like and what should it have?

    - I would do at least three pages of content (this allows you to link internally which is important for seo) along with a terms of service, privacy policy, contact, and earnings disclaimer.

    - Start linking right away. Just make sure that you are building quality links with your keywords as anchor text. Vary the kinds of links that you get and you will get much better results. Google wants to see natural links, so make them look natural.

    6. So from when should we start working on our domains and what kind of work should we do. I mean do we buy for example a pack of 20k backlinks PR0-7 or blog commenting, bookmarks, etc or a mix of that? Also how can we be sure that we got what we paid for? What do we have to check out for?

    - I am always skeptical of backlink packs. I know others have good luck with them, but they just don't seem right to me. Google wants your links to look natural, and having 20000 links show up all at once... definitely not natural looking. I build my own links. I do a mixture of doc sharing sites, blog commenting, web 2.0, articles, and social bookmarking. Keep it at a steady pace and you won't have any trouble with the google sandbox.

    7. If we do backlinks is it a good idea to ping them back with a software? I heard there is a faster + better result if you do so.

    - I ping my backlinks as it helps google find them a bit faster. Just don't do it too often. I usually do it once a month or so.

    8. How fast should we expect to see results and how can we check out the results (like is there a program to lets us know for which keywords we rank and where so we can check that weekly or daily or something)?

-Results will depend on the keywords that you choose and the competition. Low competition keywords might take 2-8 weeks. High competition keywords could take forever. I use Market Samurai to track my rankings and it is pretty accurate and easy.

    9. How often do we need to add new content and maybe more backlinks again? Should we use the same service (aka possible same links) or new service with possibly different links?

    - If it is a blog, at least once a week.
