Backlinks to my backlinks??

First time I have seen this to this magnitude.

I knew about backlinks to my backlinks but not as big as you guys have been saying on this forum.

Can someone breakdown quickly the following software and how it works? I assume I build the initial links and then I use the following software to build backlinks to those backlinks.

Whats the 411 on the following...

1.) Sean Donahoe Backlink Booster
2.) Tim's Backlink Booster
3.) Auto Backlink Bomb - has a lot of great videos explaining everything on homepage. But YouTube videos at bottom of sales page no longer work because the account was terminated = not a good sign to someone considering buying it.
4.) Another backlink boosting software?

Thanks.

  • Best to use the search button for all that. It would take too long to explain the ins and outs of each software.

Also, like the above post, check out Backlinks Energizer.

Btw, don't expect any of them to work 100%. (or even 75% for that matter!)

  • Scrapebox - good for pointing thousands of blog comment backlinks to your backlinks
xrumer - guestbook and forum post/profile backlinks pointing to your backlinks.
Article marketing robot - Just to add variation to your backlinks source
bookmarking demon - bookmarking backlinks to your backlinks.
  • Is it cost effective to backlink your backlinks if you don't a significant amount? Like, say, 500 total? In that case would it be better just to get new links instead? I mean the main point of backlinking you backlinks it make sure they stick, right? Or is it to add on link authority (juice)?
  • for me I use tom's backlink booster and it works great. The reason is to give the backlinks for linkjuice as well as increase the indexation rate. I do xrumer blasts so for me its worth it as I upload all of them straight into the booster.
  • Backlinking your backlinks is a great method. I do it with Scrapebox from time to time. Seems to help.

    • You can bookmark any URL that supports your money page: squidoo lens, hubpage, blog comments, profile links etc.

You can also bookmark your published article URLs.

  • How does backlinking your backlinks work? Can someone please PM me as I find it hard locating my previous posts
  • You know I've heard this for a while now...link wheels, web 2.0 linking, etc....

I still think it's a bunch of BS. I say direct linking is still the way to go.

    • This isn't a discussion of direct linking vs. link wheels. It's a discussion regarding sending backlinks to your backlinks, which is a great way to both help get them indexed and give them more juice. If you think it's BS, then good luck trying to get your links indexed....
    • Because you aren't motivated enough to do work?
  • Well, it's no use debating it without firm evidence. But I like this crazy tangled backlink web, like the one iAmNameless posted - it's kind of more natural and MAY help a less established site rank. It's working for me, so I'm not going to change it. I think the thing with direct linking is you need a lot more link diversity. Whereas with this approach you can pump out a lot more automated type of backlinks, and get links and PR of sorts to your backlinks, which then lend 'authority' to your money site - to which all the roads mysteriously lead I have done this almost exclusively with article backlinks, with just a few key Web 2.0 properties - it's a style of link-building that suits me, so I am happy to stick with it. I find it easier to make a few Web 2.0s every now and then, do an AMR run on them (spinning links, throwing my money site in too occasionally etc.) - it's the least painful way for me.

Also, what I have noticed is that my sites SEEM (hard to conclusively prove) to show a more steady, gradual climb, a few spots per day, as the backlinks gradually get factored in down the network, rather than this rapid but unstable Google Dance type of ranking.

    • Hey beyondyours,

this logic would have worked in the past but is totally irrelevant now.

      Here's why:

the Google caffeine update did two things; it helped Google's Index grow
tremendously in size and it helped Google index things a lot faster. With respect to indexing that was always a problem.

However with respect to indexing a page with a link going back to your site, thinking that Google will see this as ultra important won't make that difference. Indexing speed helped to pressure the algo to account for variables a lot faster (this due obviously to the increase in size of the index). However the Panda update corrected that by adding more notable variables to the algo helping it to sift through easier and present rankings.

Remember the more variables the longer search results will take to show up when you trigger a search in Google.

My advice continues building good links.... G will index them eventually.
  • I use bookmarkwitz it's better than anything.
