I want to get on first page of google...I need a real SEO expert

Hi, I want to get on first page of google for many different keyword phrases...
I assume the best way to get on first page of google for every one of these keyword phrases would be to buy a domain with each one of these keyword phrases...so I would have to buy:

www.keywordphrase1.com

www.keywordphrase2.com

www.keywordphrase3.com


But do you think it would be enough to just buy 1 domain? and include the different keyword phrases in the url? so it would look like:

www.domain.com/keywordphrase1

www.domain.com/keywordphrase2

www.domain.com/keywordphrase3

www.domain.com/keywordphrase4

Or I really need to buy different domains?

what's your opinion on this?

    Buy domain name for your primary keyword and target all the secondary keywords in form of pages.

    You're going to get a lot of mixed responses from this, because there is no right way to do this.

    Some people swear by using exact match keyword domains (i.e. www.keyword1.com like you said above). I generally prefer to keep everything on one domain myself.

    Exact match domains
    +are easier to rank for the specific keyword, and will thus appear faster in the serps
    +can give you a lot of SEO leverage if you interlink your sites like a link wheel


    Single domain
    +cheaper (1 annual domain renewal vs 10 adds up)
    +Easier to manage
    +Once out of the sandbox, you can get it to rank for other terms faster than setting up individual exact match domains since it's already out of the sandbox and has ranking power

    I personally prefer using a single domain, but some people swear by using lots of smaller domains. Neither is wrong, both work.

      Also as Christian mentions there is a lot of different ways of doing this and even more in supplying content.

      Get a site set up as above, find out where people in your niche go, provide GOOD content and update your site every day.

      Build some backlinks and keep going!

    Like Christian said , exact match domain are much more easy to rank on easy/medium competition niche ( on real easy niche - the exact domain name is sometime enough to get rank high without any serious link building effort )

    my advice - if you can - buy only the exact match domain for your main keyword and use sub pages for all the rest of the keywords , its best to give all the power to one website then to spread it around many outers .

      Yes, I also think that Exact match domains are the best option but I would have to pay about $10 each year for each domain...where do you recommend I get cheap and reliable domains from?

      well maybe I could use blogger or wordpress for some keyword phrases...?

    $10 is standard for a .com

    How broad are these keywords? Are you going to want to take these domains further in the future? Would you instead prefer to manage several domains and earn through the power of numbers rather than focusing on a few things?

    What you choose depends heavily on what your plans are. You do have a plan, right?

    Haha - I never buy exact keyword match domains. They don't look like legitimate businesses to some people so I don't even bother. It's not required in order to dominate most niches.

    If you're going to do proper SEM then the domain name is irrelevant and I wouldn't worry about trying to squeeze keywords into it.

      Exactly! Though I've used generic keywords I may want to target in future that are legitimate names for a business in that certain niche anyway.

      Not to say I havn't done exact match keywords that are low in volume, because I have

        Right - but all the focus people put on stuffing their keywords into the domain names and trying to over SEO their content - is just not necessary and often has adverse effects, but because it's seen as gaming the SEs people start out thinking that's what they have to do.

        I guess until you learn from experience doing stuff like that sounds logical.

          Very true. If I had to start from scratch, I would be able to count the domain names I own on one hand. Infact, I'm currently case studying this with Amazon. Using only 6 domains, and each domain has a funky cool name for its niches rather than for SEO purposes. The SEO will come after I please
          my visitor.

          I've also set myself a stupidly high goal for these 6 domains! I'm not allowed anymore either. And I think even 6 is too many, but old habits die-hard!

    Andys right. The domain isnt overly important.

    Its moreso the onsite optimization, and of course offsite optimization that matters.

    Be sure to use categories (sub folders) to sort your content.

    www.domain.com/category1/keyword-in-page-name.html
    www.domain.com/category2/keyword-in-page-name.html

    single domain then divide it to category and build authority site, once your domain get old and build good relation to google you will rank whatever keyword in your phrase related.

    Lets break this down....

    If you're willing to put effort and work into this.... then no you don't need an exact match domain.

    If you're lazy and don't wanna spend much time on getting ranked for each keyword, then try to get an exact match domain in a very very low competition niche.

    If what you are doing is about unique content on one particular topic then I would do it under one domain. If you are trying to setup a number of sites on different topics, then you should try your initial strategy.

    Remember one thing though, if you are trying to spam Google will find you and hunt you down

    It is better to have one domain and add value to the domain name by getting deep links to the keyword pages. I will not suggest for multiple domains just for the sake of keywords.
