Adsense & Amazon on same site??

Hey Gang,

I'm just wondering if it's a bad idea to put adsense & amazon on the same site? I just built a golf site and would like to put adsense code in one widget & amazon code within another?

Just like to get some helpful feedback before I do so...

    If it's a review type site, then I would say no. You don't want to distract you're potential customer...rather have them click over to your Amazon

      the best idea is to focus on one strategy. if you have too many links, you are really stuffing the page.

      if you use generated content, thats fine. however if you are running a quality site, its important to make sure that everything is focused on just one strategy.

      Most people I know concentrate on affiliate links only and make a lot from it.

    If you are targeting buyer keywords then most people who come to your site are ready to buy but if you get a lookie loo and they click on your adsense, you make money either way.

    I would go ahead and put both on. Monitor your revenue, adjust the ad placements, etc, until you find something that works for you. It takes some time.
