Using an Optin or subscribe form

Hi, is is safe to use an optin or a subscribe form to collect emails on a site that has adsense on it?

i dont think theres a dif but optin via aweber is what i used when i was executing the email marketing business model.

You also can collect emails through search engines only need to use relevant keywords for it.
