My site jumped 30 pages back in SERPs!!

It was on page 12, now it is on page 42! I don't know why this happened. What should I do? I really doubt this is normal!!

    you mean dropped and yes it could be normal if your page is new. Sometimes an early higher ranking is only happening because Google sees the article as fresh - as soon as it isn't anymore then it drops to where it should have been based on other factors.

      i agree me too bt i want to know the underlyig reason because i want to fix whatever is wrong with my sites. i dont want this to keep affecting me

    How long did you site rank at #12? If it just achieved that ranking recently, and then dropped when it was cached again, then it is the Google Dance, which happens to all of us.

    Other than that, I would at any changes that you have made recently on the site and start from there.

    For the most part, all that we can do is guesstimate when it comes to the search engines.

    I imagine the traffic remains the same on page #42 as it did on page #12. Sounds like you need to revisit your strategy.

      I read here all answers that maybe his site/content is new and because of that is happend to me.

      but what about me. in my case: my site was 3 weeks and maybe longer at page 5 of google. yesterday when I checked it I couldn't find my site NO WHERE in google at one of my keywoords.

      after 3 hours I saw him again back in page 5. I made to new posts and went to sleep.

      but

      today (now in the evening) I checked it again and i see that its just moved from google with one of my keywoords, actually the same .

      at the other keywoord it just jumped back from page 2 to page 6. its very strange.

      the things what I did in last weeks: making backlinks, making posts, chaning the design of my page.

      can anyone help and is there anyone who knows why it had happend to me?

      and now that is happend, How can I bring my site back to his privious position?

    Keep back linking. Until you reach page one, it doesn't really matter anyway. There is little to no traffic from page two on, so keey back linking till you get to page one. And then keep it up so you stay there.

    Another Google Dance, just keep on doing natural SEO, mean normal link building. If your site remains at page 42 for week or more then you need to rethink your SEO strategies.
