Is this many sudden backlinks a problem?

I was blog comment posting for backlinks the other day. I noticed one of my sites got 200 backlinks overnight, because on this particular blog they had a "recent comments" widget on the right side, which of course displays on every single page of the site. So apparently it registered 200 backlinks to my site at once over night because of this... at least for now.

Is this many sudden backlinks a problem? I heard adding too many backlinks in one day can lead to bad things.

I'm doing micro niche stuff, I currently have 3 websites under one experiment, two of them have this type of backlinks one is not found in google, the other one went from 18 to 137. The last one has no backlinks at all but it still is on the 15 spot. I guess it really leads to bad things especially after reading all that IP class C stuff (who don't understand - it's better to have several links from multiple sites rather than a lot from couple of them). I think google reacts so negative not because too much links appear in no time, but because they disappear after someone posts some comments (but yahoo site explorer shows still 400+ backlinks for that 18-to-137 website, some of backlinks are already gone)

that many backlinks will probably not hurt you but more than likely they will disappear overtime because of that widget. Also when you submit that many backlinks newer sites will go through what is known as the "google dance" which why the other poster had is site move back in serps.

I would recommend that you get backlinks from multiple places not just backlinks.

      Try and do the following

Create hubpages and squidoo lens and post a spun article with your anchor text in it. then use rss feeds to get that backlink indexed

Create a bunch of articles and post them to press release sites

      create profile links

submit your websites to web directories

Try all of the following and remember to mix up your anchor text when backlinking.

You could have 100,000 back links in one day and not be effected. Just because you have a certain amount of backlinks, doesn't mean google indexes them all at once.

There are things such as going viral, and google knows that. If it were something you can be penalized for, everyone would be doing it to their opponents. If anyone disagrees with that, then I encourage you to prove it, by spamming back links to my sites! LOL.

I created 5 difference squidoo lenses for backilnks to 5 different sites. These lenses are all indexed in google for almost two weeks now, yet i show no backlinks to my sites from them. Why is this? I linked to each site twice in the lens.

You need to ping those links to get them indexed quicker. Just because your page is indexed doesnt mean that google has found your link.

Go to Icerocket and make your backlink pages into RSS feed and submit to RSS directories...

You simply mix and match your backlink pages to many RSS feeds.

There is also a bunch of other ways to do this, just do a google search.

Also whatever tool you are using to check backlinks wont show every backlink you have.

My advice would be to ping your links and just move on. Keep backlinking from a bunch of other avenues such as blog comments, press releases and article submissions.

You will only get about 10% indexed from an RSS feed.

Need not to worry for this, But be aware! This type of sudden hikes in back links may cause your site over optimized and Google may penalize also for this.
