How to choose a Search Engine Friendly Domain Name Registration?
#search engine optimization #domain #engine #friendly #search
  • By choosing one that has the keyword in it and if possible, ends with either .com/.net/.org. I'd stay away from other TLD's for several reasons, not only that they are harder to rank but also because you'll get less money for those if you want to flip than as if you'd get for the com/net/org. However, to be seo friendly, you definitely want your keyword in the domain.

    • Research your niche's main keyword and any related keywords and keyword phrases to see what people are searching for. Remember that people drive the search engines.

Also remember that your domain is your homepage and you will have other pages as part of your total site- keep them all relevant. People will find your site's pages through targeted searches, not just searching for your domain name/keyword.

Very often, your supporting pages will outrank your homepage.
  • If you can get aged domains with the keyword in the domain name you will rank much faster, even through the domain will cost a couple extra dollars up front.
  • a domain with your keywords in it, but this is not important always.

    • There is no search engine friendly domain. Complete myth.
What the heck is a zillow? icanhascheezburger?

How about concentrating on a visitor-friendly site, with decent
content and site structure? Now that might be search engine friendly.
