This is no secret at all.

Those lists of the best paying keywords etc. are out there for ages already. HOWEVER - most of them make the mistake not taking search volume into account.

( For example, a keyword paying $90/click is pretty useless if only 3 people search for the keyword per month. )

The best keywords are the ones which combine high search volume + highest CPC.

On top of that list:

Insurance
Loans
Mortgage
Car Insurance
Insurance Quotes
etc..etc..

Niches i hate with a passion, but they have crazy search volume and high CPC....but are also ultra hard to rank due to established sites in Google dominating.

Of course, there are more niches and keywords..i have a list of 50.000 here.

The "best" are simply the ones where you have a site which you managed to rank in Google and get decent traffic and CPC, and this could of course be a total different niche/keyword..

Edit: HIGHEST paying keywords ever "extended stay" and all derivations and long tails. But 100% impossible to rank in Google due to established hotel chains (marriots etc.) dominating Google over 20+ PAGES for that keyword. No way in hell to get a adsense site up there.

I completely agree with you that well established sites are dominating Google for those keywords which may make it really hard to achieve top ranking for them. But, I think if you have an agressive link building campaign, even though you may not be able to get on the top for those keywords, you can still get traffic from keyphrases that people are typing in the search result.

Is an example, but prepare to put a great deal of effort into site development and SEO.

I personally still have very niche adsense sites that bring in several thousands of dollars a week and have for years.

If your serious, dont cut corners or your site will never get any quality organic traffic.

The best niche for adsense is finance, some high paying keywords for adsense are like credit card, payday loan, payday advance loan etc. The estimated CPC for these keywords are very high.
