A keyword domain helps but it is really what you do with the domain that does the trick.. sometimes a keyword domain can actually work against you if the term has a lot of competition.

the same way you would rank high in any other market, inbound links supporting content. The domain, or any part of the URL, are just one factor amongst many that reinforce the message you are sending Google about what this page/site is about and how authoritative it is on the subject.

yes you can easily rank for keywords that:

    - are not in your root domain
    - are not in your url whatsoever
    - are not in your code or written text on page content

Sure. It may be a little bit harder, but it's possible. Just make sure the page you're trying to rank is keyword rich, has related (LSI) keywords, etc.

Yes, of course you can. Try to build backlinks with the anchor text you want to be seen for and problem will be solved in the future

Yes, you can. But having keyword in domain name will be more helpful to rank quickly.

Keywords in the domain name is not the necessary thing. Proper on-page and off-page optimization on quite normal domain will do the needful.

yes, keywords in domain only works good for small sites, for a big site, its nothing. How ever keywords in domain is not so important. Most important is your site's tittle and description
