I think you are leaving out a couple (million) variables.

    yes,

I know there are lot many things involved, but still one has to give some generic answer what that should be?

      No problem.
Anywhere from 0 to a billion.

i know there is no limit to that, but if you have to set a monthly target that... ok i will get at least this many subscribers each month then what it would be? I want to know this.

What is a realistic target a marketing guy sets when thinking of expanding subscriber base.

there is no answer to your question. You are much better off developing a percentage growth versus a raw number grow. Every month you want to increase you subscriptions by X%. If you hit your target great, if not, adjust your % based on prior historical subscription data.

thanks a lot for your reply. Much appreciated. But what percentage growth you think one should target...

let's say I have 1000 subscribers now...what % growth should I target in the next month... what would be the realistic and achievable figure in percentage or volume term, 1000 is the base subscriber?
