Hi,

does anyone know of a good way to rank youtube videos? Is there a special type of SEO for this?

Any good WSO's about it?

  • I think youtube works the same as article marketing. You need to put the right keywords in your title and create a video description under your video with those same keywords. I notice that keyword rich videos rank much higher than vidoes that say Raw Heath video #200. Make sure every title is unique and keyword specific based on what you are talking about or demonstrating in the video.

    • Youtube is COMPLETLY different than Google if you want to get a lot of views. For the first day, it is VERY important that your title is catchy. The reason is you really need to get those click from the list of new videos of the day. After 24 hours, you can change your name by something people are searching.

      However, don't look at Google Keywords Tool because people aren't finding the same on Google than Youtube (outside if you want people to find your video by Google, they rank very high for some days). Use the auto-completion of Youtube to know what is the best title to write and use videos that have a lot of view to know which tags to use.

  • I find having lots of friends and subscribers helps your rankings, assuming that you can receive regular comments on your videos. I have day old videos ranking within the first 5 on the searches for the very specific keywords I chose.

    I also share my videos with my list and on my blog, all in one smooth flowing (sorta), video marketing, list building, blogging, internet network marketing system. Oh, and social bookmarking REALLY helps rankings!
