Amazon is a gold mine for internet marketers. I know that many people here on this forum are affiliates of the products that they promote and understand the concepts of making money through Amazon. But what a lot of people don't understand is how to leverage the information that they give us so we can make more money with AdSense.

The Amazon interface tells us exactly what information people are most interested in, and now through the power of Kindle, we also have instant access to this information.

How does this help us make money with AdSense?

If you think about how a good website is setup, it is much like a book. The main page of the website acts like the cover or table of contents and reflects the main topic of the book (website). Each category that is accessible from the main page represents the separate chapters of the book. These chapters (categories on your website) are nothing but sub-niches of the books main concept or broader niche.

We can make money with AdSense by building authority websites on the most popular subjects. Amazon and Kindle will tell us exactly what type of content people are searching for.

Now instead of having to come up with ideas on what kind of websites we should create, and more importantly, what kind of information we need to put on this website, we can simply head on over to Amazon and get all the information we need.

Here's what you can do...

Go to Amazon > Books > Kindle eBooks. Then you will see all of their eBooks broken down into niches. There are tens of thousands of eBooks in most of the niches they show. Some of them have hundreds of thousands!

Then go ahead and select a niche that interests you the most. Just for the sake of this example I will go ahead and select 'Computers and Internet'.

Then it breaks the niches down even more so into sub-niches. I will select 'Web Marketing' where there are over 10,000 eBooks listed.

Make sure that you sort the eBooks by 'Bestselling' so it will list from top to bottom which books are selling and which aren't. The top selling book in this niche is "The Zen of Social Media Marketing: An Easier Way to Build Credibility. Generate Buzz, and Increase Revenue"

This book has 57 customer reviews which tells me that this topic certainly has some interest. I always search through a few pages of results to see what topics (niches) are generating the most customer reviews and to see if there are any recurring themes or niches of books that show up. If I see a bunch of books on a certain subject, that tells me that there are a lot of people searching for this information. So if I put up a website on this subject I will likely get a lot of traffic to it. Of course I will always verify this by using Googles Free Keyword Tool.

Once you decide on a topic, you will need to break the website down into chapters and set it up with categories like I explained above. You can see previews of each book and have a peek at their table of contents. I'll even buy a few books on the subject and break my website down exactly like they do in the books. Use the recurring chapters that you see in the books as your sites main categories.

The next step for you to do is your keyword research. You'll need to find your sites main keywords and main category keywords. Each category (chapter) will break down into separate articles with each focusing on its own unique keywords. Some categories will have a ton of keywords you can go after and some won't.

The best part about this method is that you have all of the information and content that you need to include in your websites categories. You just have to take the information from the book, put it in your own words and publish it on your website.

Please, whatever you do, do not simply copy these books and put them on a website. This is blatant plagiarism and you could get in a heap of trouble by doing that. I'm not advocating any type of plagiarism whatsoever with this method. You can publish information loosely or even tightly related to the books content, but copying and pasting is a big no-no!

I hope this has shed some light on how you can use Kindle and Amazon books to create your own authority AdSense websites. Knowing what content to include and how to setup your website will really help you create a bunch of traffic.

Of course the other side of making this work is promoting the website and picking up links. But there are still a lot of great niches out there that get plenty of searches and don't have much for competition.
