Google Analytics Question...

Warriors,

I got a question for you..take a look at this screenshot:

the last stats where it says "/order/ordersuccess.html?vendor=&item="

SHOULD this mean that I receive 4 sales for the day? or is this one of those things where consumers can hit submit on the order form, but payment doesn't go through?

The reason why I ask you this is because as of late, I have seen stats on my google analytics saying that my impressions for the "/order/ordersuccess.html?vendor=&item=" were always MORE than what my sales are reflecting...

Tell me what you think!

Thanks,

Solag

For me, when an order submission has failed to go through, I have not seen the "success" pages in analytics.

But when the vendor offers an upsell, and the buyer buys the main product as well as the upsell, I see two "successes" in analytics.

Looking at your image, I would expect to see 4 sales on the clickbank transactions report.

If yours don't balance, I wonder if there is something on the vendor site that's causing it.

the product that I am promoting has no upsells or anything like that.

So in your experience, order success should be taken as sales correct?

I have had this problem for a VERY long time now...

Am I not getting credit for my sales?

I just went to buy from my own affiliate link..

I got credit for the sale and it shows 1 impression for the order success.

So, seeing this this means that every time my analytics show order success, I should be making a sale...

However this is NOT the case.
