All Scrapebox users! What's the best way to use this tool?

Hey there!

I recently purchased Scrapebox and it seems like a very powerful tool. I read some WF posts about it but before I start using it, let me ask you a few questions:

1. Which private proxy service would you recommend? Your Private Proxy or Squid Proxies? Are they both good enough? (the second is a little cheaper)
2. Are 10 proxies enough for normal use? (I still don't have tens of websites so it should probably be enough for now)
3. Do you also scrape for free proxies each time you use the tool or are those private proxies enough?
4. How many blog comments would you recommend per day for a totally NEW website so I won't get in trouble with it? I would like to start slowly and not arouse suspicions but at the same time I do want to be as efficient as I can.
5. Can a website go to number one on Google for a decent keyword using only blog comments? (anyone tried this?)
6. How do you use the tool for maximum benefits?
7. What else would you suggest?

I also got Bookmarking Demon and I will use those proxies for BMD too.

I think it should be enough for now... just have to start learning to use them right.

Thanks a lot,
George

Welcome to the wonderful and confusing world of Scrapebox.

    Some tips:

    - 10 proxies is OK for posting. But when scraping, you'll need a lot more. Scrapebox has a built in proxy harvester that can be used for scraping.

    - I scrape public proxies a few times a day if I'm working with the program a lot during that day.

    - You can do a lot of links each day as long as it's relatively consistent. (Especially on a new site.) In other words, don't do 5,000 one day and 0 the next. Instead, break it up into 50,100, etc.

    - If you've researched your keyword / phrase and have done proper on-page SEO you can definitely hit page 1 by using Scrapebox. That said, I'd still recommend mixing in some other link building methods as well.

    - I spend a lot of time trying to harvest the elusive dofollow blogs with Scrapebox. For these, I try to comment manually if it's a high quality, high PR blog. On lower quality blogs I'll blast away using the fast poster.

Thanks, you gave me some great tips. So would you say that I can do about 100 backlinks per day to a new website without getting in trouble?

Of course I will also add some other link building strategies.

You can go for the sites proxybonanza to get some new proxies. 10 proxies will be more than enough.

I don't think you can reach page 1 using blog comments only, because I am bewaring you there are a lot of spammy blog comments from Scrapebox.
      Reason is:

Most of them are do not follow and even if you find do follow, maximum time your comment needs to be approved by the moderator, so spare the thought that your spammy comment will be accepted. And if you find a list of auto approve blog lists to comment. I am sure there are thousand more people on web having the same lists.

I have one such good list for you. You can try that. :

      Hope this helps..

      Regards,
      Shiva Agrawal!

    I'm kind of on a schedule, but I'll answer your fifth question;

It depends on the amount of competition you're facing, but in most cases unfortunately, no.

I wouldn't worry about 100 backlinks a day. In fact, I'll bet most people who use Scrapebox do a lot more. I'm just relatively paranoid. Especially with brand new sites.

I don't know about the last one, but I've heard that Your Private Proxy is a good service.

I recently read a great a few chapters from a great ebook called "the link building dossier" (I think) and the guy said that he tried to get an enormous amount of backlinks in a day for new websites and older websites and he still hasn't got "sandboxed".

I'm probably too paranoid about excessive backilnking and I will try to be a little more relaxed in the future. I will probably go with Your Private Proxies... proxies are very important so I can't fool around with them.

Any other tips? Still waiting for the SB master users to help me with some advice here

    Thanks,
    George

I usually keep 100-200 proxies loaded. I'll test proxies before each use.

I will use Scrapebox to reverse engineer my competition and snoop for auto approve blogs. The Wonder Wheel Scraper is great! PR Checker - Blog Analyzer - Backlink Checker - Alive Link Checker - Pingbacks/Trackbacks - etc.

Rapid Indexer would be alot cooler if I could store multiple URLs. Create RSS Feeds very easily - The RSS pinger is lame.

It's really all about footprints. I just dig and dig and dig. Lol! :p

I use scrapebox for a while and quite like a software. I have found that it is ok to use free proxy to scrape url. It's just took sometime to test it, That's all.

However, I notice that if you use private proxy instead of free one for blog commenting, it will increase your success rate for sure.

I buy private proxies from SquidProxies.com , they are quite fast and you can have a random ip location. You can switch your ip once a month which good in case your ip get banned. Support is great, if you have a specific location just ask them, they are happy to change them for you.

    YourPrivateproxies are great
10 is fine for normal work and you can just use them
For a completely new site, I wouldn't do more than 500 a day.

Read/learn/test - and you will find where is your golden mine!...Any way take your time to write good comments and try to find those auto approve lists in internet. Then check results for them(they will be spammed as hell!) and compare your own results and you will see the difference and why to go!
    Cheers...!

I had a lot of problems with Your Private Proxy (customer service). I use squid proxies now and I've had no issues.

The best way to use this tool is to enter your keyword which is know as footprint in scrape box to find anything or back links in scrape box.
