in my opinion blogs, at least 8 socialbookmarking sites, and articles every week at least 1 article works. for example digg, yahoo buzz, mixx are my favorites.

It takes a long time to get your backlinks indexed in Google, just wait few more days for some other results.

Don't worry brother. It will take time to getting index of your site on google. Please try to promote more and more and i think your back link is not so enough that's why this problem is occurred.

To have a stronghold on backlinks and I mean REAL strong backlinks, everything has to be relevant to the T. Most people just add backlinks because it looks good or doesn't need approval. These are going to be spammed and you'll be caught with your site in the middle of it all. Of course if you do it right and look for comment section with few but relevant comments, nice PR and good Alexa then yes its good but don't go telling everyone ... here I am or it will go viral and next thing you know it turns into a spam house. That's why its really important to research any backlinks before adding your info.

I tend to go for the low key but powerful .edu's, .gov's and .mil's and it can be very difficult to find thats why these are goldmines. Some people offer example: 300 .edu's for $30 but what type of .edu's?. And most time they're using some type of software that brings up junk and soon you'll be caught up it in as well. So watch how or who you do your backlinks with because it can work against you if not researched good. I do mine manually. I like it fresh.

Try to submit your information in dofollow sites. Post your article in ezine, goarticle and other high pr sites. Do social bookmark and participate in forum. Definitely your back link will be increased.
