Can Google see your IP on a 3rd party website

Hello all, this is my first post (on any forum), so I hope I don't embarass myself too quickly.

My question is in regards to posting reviews in order to SEO Google Local Listings.

If you advertise your services in a local directory that Google holds in high authority and you want to post multiple testimonials that customers have written about your services on these directories in the hope that Google will pick these up and it will bolster your listings position (and also in the knowledge that if you post the review from the same IP using maps.google.com, Google will kick your ad off for spam) do you think that Google can see your IP (maybe running a tracking script on some of these directories). Or is do you think its safe to SEO this way?

Thanks for your resposes (I know its a cheeky question) I hope some answers

To post reviews you need a Google account. So in theory if you wanted to create “fake” reviews you would just have to create multiple Google accounts, now the problem you now have is that Google requires you to use phone number activation on new accounts so you will have to be creative. Just best to ask happy customers to review. IP has no baring.
