Yes, in fact it is not with good quality.
You'd better build backlinks by yourself and your visitors - get more traffic to your site, visitors would like your site and bookmark your site and spread your site, which help build backlinks.

As I am getting busy, I had planned to get service from some SEO people,
Some people had promised me that they will get results (SERP) within 7 days, I really wonder on what they are going to do, I afraid, whether their methods are going to harm my site, anyway, my site is 4 years old.

What do you guys feel about it? Please advise me,

It will not totally harm your site. But it can only get you a huge number of low quality backlinks. which sometimes are useless.

Hi Amenda,

The tools that build links are pretty useless because the links that are automatically generated might not be:

A.) Site/Topic related
B.) From a neighbourhood of bad websites
C.) From a website that's already penalized/banned by Google
D.) Just useless.

Write good content, syndicate it and be prepared to buy traffic(from legitimate sites) for a while until you build up a good list that you can interact with and market to.

Its either quality or quanity
Softwares are bound to leave a footprint, maybe they aren't traced instantly but they *will* be traced, and footprints are bad for good websites.

Sometimes, we cannot just wait to get the traffic and backlinks rolling into our blog. That's why we commit with auto and software related backlink creator.

For now, I'm thinking of mixing auto and manual backlink establishment.

Any sincere comment on my idea?

No automated tool can harm your website. Some of the sites they link from may not be awesome and yea a lot of them may turn out to be utterly useless.

I'm not sure of the reason for all the paranoia behind linkbuilding advice but when people start talking about footprints, natural link building and only building manual backlinks I always think that they're regurgitating information they've read elsewhere rather than using their own experience of SEO.

I've scrapboxed the bejesus out of sites and they're ranking fine. I don't think that's a great long-term strategy but it certainly didn't harm my site.

The automation process of link building is not really effective to obtain the website as first ranking in SERPs and for obtaining traffic.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with automating backlinks. It is like any other task in a business that you would outsource.

Also, Google have stated that they will not penalize you for the links that you get. If this was the case you could build all sorts of bad links to your competitors website. They will only punish you for factors that you can control, and which sites link to you is not really something you can control.

Automated submission or using software is good but I prefer manually, when using automation just don't abuse it too much, it may affect on your results in rankings or getting index by google.
