Rank Checking Software?

What's the best rank checking software?

I've always used the crappy web based ones but I'd like to find a good one..

I tried SEO Powersuite's Rank Tracker but it won't find one of my sites that's on page 2, so i doubt it's accurate for other searches..

I need results up to position 1000 at least..

Please recommend something.

  • I remember asking the same question a year ago. I tried Traffic Travis and countless of other serp checker.

    This is the best one I've found and still use. The best part is, it's free. It's also way more accurate than those paid programs. Oh yea, and it lists up to 1000 so you can check who's who in your competition.

    And, as a matter of curiosity, why do you need as many rankings down to as low as 1000?

    • TT is not that accurate. Getting 1k gives you an idea where you are and can be used to extract your competitor's links.

  • I use two tools: Rank Checker by SEoBook as it integrates perfectly with my Firefox and the built-in tool in Market Samurai.

  • SEscout...not cheap if you have over 100 sites..but its amazing

  • What I love about SEscout is that I can be in class, and every hour they send out notifications to my phone about ranking changes. Very convenient.
