Let me clear the air first.

I'm planning to buy a domain which has a brand name of a product inside it and use it to generate adsense income.

Example...

Let say I want to have a new domain titled "nikepromotionshirt.com", where there is the word "NIKE" in there.

Is that OK?

Is that OK to have adsense inside there?

I really appreciate your precious inputs and feedbacks.

Thanks

I'd say not okay. Lots of people do it, but it's a trademark infringement.

Yes, Nik's epromotion shirt is a great thing to promote online

LOL... this is kind of too intentional, I think you're crossing the line here, and I'm usually for people that flip domains. In a lot of cases you won't have a court battle, but this is just blatant. I wouldn't do it.

Ok, thanks a lot for your feedback.

I just asked this because i saw somebody selling his blog which have a product brands name inside his domain and he is doing pretty good in adsense for that particular blog.

      Any more ideas?

I stay away from domains with brand names in them. If it is a product I really want to promote, I try to think outside of the box with domain names.

Much better, than getting slapped by a "cease and desist" or possible lawsuit, which could cost you much more than the site might ever make.

You will probably not get slapped with a lawsuit.
A letter is not worth anything but a scare tactic.

The domain is yours. It takes a ruling for you to give it up.
No or little cost via ICANN.

Your host make revoke your hosting, but the domain is
          your property.

Perfectly legal if done the right way, to have a brand name
or trademark in a domain. If it were not, you could not
even use a brand name or trademark in any url, and most
certainly not in a subdomain. But people do.

apple_ipad.bigdeal.com for example. Not only ipad, but apple.

How about buyipaddeals.com ? Best wordpress example.

Both of those sites are loved by google. Apple is one company
that never seems to mind people giving them publicity.
