Fastest and best backlinks?

Has anyone tested out forum signatures against directory submissions or blog commenting to see which is the best for quickest results?

  • Firstly, it should depend on the PR of these websites. And we should consider if these websites are friendly to search engine(SEO).

    If one is more friendly to search engine, your link can be indexed by search engine fast.
    If one has a higher PR, then the quality of backlink will be better.

    It is hard to draw conclusion, different forums or different directories or blogs have different situations.

      getting some high pr links from within the content
      of the page if you want to get the best results.

      There are too many variables to test this accuratly
  • Yes, I guess there are to many variables. So, if you need quick results how do you personally find the quality links with in content. For me they are few and far between.
  • Blog commenting for me, but its only effective when you do it on a related sites and of course with good PR.

    • Due to all the spider traffic blogs get, blog comments, usually index many times faster than forum profiles and directory submissions.
  • The way I create backlinks, the blog comments are the best, then forum sig links, then directory submissions, then again this is probably going to be different for you.

    As mentioned above, there are too many factors involved to give you a straight answer here.

    My advice: use all three methods, plus MORE.. and just try to get the best backlinks you can. Each day you will get better and better at it.. no matter how experienced you are

    • It might not be the best strategy in building links but for me, forum posting is much more efficient than blog commenting. This is true because of the forum's signature text feature wherein you are given the chance to leave your site's URL. Although in some forums, there are certain requirements needed before signature text will be available.

      Certainly, looking into the good side of it, the more replies you post, the more you and your web page becomes visible in the internet.

      And forum posting is much easier to do than commenting on a blog.

  • Articles are #1 as far as I'm concerned. Forum posting is for long term growth, not immediate.
  • Forum signatures and blog commenting are two totally different animals. I regularly post in a handful of niche specific forums. Not to create backlinks, but to generate clicks to my offers / sign-ups via my signatures. Actively posting can generate 10, 20, even 30+ clicks a day.

    • Blog comments probably get crawled more but if you want the quickest links possible just put up some videos and input your url in the description box. Video sites get crawled constantly and those links will be indexed within a few hours usually.
