What do you do to index your articles?

Hello,

what i already did with my articles: digg, delicous, stumbler, reddit, tweeted, create a blog with some random text and bolded keywords (experiment xD) for backlinks, pinged all the links..

i guess i expect it too soon that they get indexed?



Anyways, any suggestions (and not manual backlinking to them ;D) ? Like good sites for social bookmarking?
