I'm on the verge of re-designing my site completely and i have some on-site seo questions i'll like to ask before i begin. 1) Does the number of keyword on a page determine the one's search engine rank. For instance i have major keywords like web hosting, web design, seo, domain registration all on the home page. Now i think this may be the reason why i don't rank well for my two preferable keywords "web hosting, Web design". Will i have a better rank if i use just these two keywords on my homepage then have those other keywords in another page.

2) I read somewhere about how linking different pages can have either a positive or negative effect on SEO. This is what i want to do:
I want to make links linking to pages such as contact us, privacy, terms of service(TOS) and other web pages that i don't want search engines to index to be nofollow so that the link juice will not be wasted. I want the link juice to be concentrated on important pages. Does this make any sense.
I'll be back with more questions later.
