RSS in SEO?

Am pretty new in SEO and have been wondering what RSS is and whether its a tool in SEO! please advice!

RSS (most commonly expanded as Really Simple Syndication)

Submit your RSS to RSS directories to get backlinks to your links or main site itself.

RSS is one of the methods of SEO. It is not a tool.

yup, rss is not a tool. It's a off page activity. RSS stands for both rich Site SummaryReally Simple Syndication but it always refers to the same technology.
