Hi,

These are my current questions:

1. Is it true that Google is the top referrer that makes many people money in CPA, Ad Space, ECommerce, Online products and etc?

2. Am I relying on hearsay, gossips and rumours to build my online business direction and strategies?

3. Am I limiting my potentials with the "Google Mindset" subculture?

I dug and found some interesting facts than fancies.

Take a look at the attached FREE PDF file, which comes from ComScore for February 2011.

Reputable companies consistently use ComScore reports to make their analysis and strategic recommendations. Of course there are other reliable sources such as StatCounter and WebSpy. Feel free to compare and make judgements.

Here are parts of the stats:
1. Yahoo Sites is in the top spot from 50 top sites. 176million American visitors from 210million unique internet audience.

2. AOL has 84.6 % Advertising reach, Yahoo Sites has 84.6 and Yahoo Network Plus has 84.1 % reach !

3. Online Sites for Flowers, Gifts and Greetings are rising by 18% in a month with 30 million unique visitors. Ecards has 20million users and rising by 10% in a month. Can dig VALUABLE niches in some of the stats.

4. Guess what? Content Farms, Directories and Social Bookmarking are well and healthy with hundreds of millions of unique visitors put together. Guess the current brouhaha is really a storm in the Google Fans cup.

5. Table 4 show me where exactly to Advertise with optimum reach, if I plan to skip the forever difficult Google & Facebook. There are 40 plus other places to do so with billions of eyeballs waiting. niche niche niche.

Even if Google has 64 % of the US Search Engine market share, but there are hundreds of other non-SE and SEs referrals ( amounting to billions of visitors ). Pushing Google-based referrals to become less than 10%.

Just sharing my opinion based on facts and figures.

Grab the attached PDF file. Simple to read, understand and deduce.

First of all, thanks for the report.

Even though Google is still the main traffic source of my sites (about 90% on my average sites), mostly because I apply strong SEO strategies to rank well on Google, I have started to experiment with social media for a couple of my sites and I'm pretty impress with the results. After some work, Facebook and Twitter and sending to my sites a lot more traffic that I expected.
