Sorry to burst your bubbles but I think your rankings are off. Try logging out of your google account and clear all your cookies and cache and check again. The results for me show all highly aged domains with PR (which you couldn't have done with a 1 week old site).

are you talking about the site you have in your signature? if yes, then i don't even find a link for it in Google top 100 also, when you were searching for your keyword, were you including quotes or not? it makes a major difference when searched without quotes...

Its never been easy to rank high in Google with minimum efforts if we kept the rumors aside.

    * I feel sad for you!

Update: on Yahoo, you are ranking at no# 174 for your keyword! (JVC Camcorder Reviews).

OK let me explain a few things!
First thanks for the congratulations and critisism!

My site is www.insidethematrix.co.uk i didnt by a jvccamcordersreviews domain (i could have) thats because you don't need to a related domain.

This is my first Mini Amazon Review site and i have been trying to sell them on the WSO i won't post the link as i will get slaughtered!
      PM me tho!

second site is Home Gym Reviews Site

The site does break up in some browsers but is fine in IE
I am working on a fix but this is difficult. It was built in Dreamweaver so i can't see the problem?

The search was done with "jvc camcorder reviews" as this is a specific search. If you type jvc camcorder reviews then this brings up everyting for:
      jvc
      camcorders
      and reviews
Not the way to use a search engine!

I will be moving my advert for mini amazon review sites to the "Complete web sites for sale" as the WSO section was far too busy with bumps cost me a fortune!

I didnt have to put any work in i just used googles guidelines which are pretty simple, thats the trick, design your site around a specific item (niche) if you like and make sure you only put in your meta tags the words and phrases you want to be found under. I for example went for jvc camcorder reviews and nothing else. no good adding loads of keywordds about camcorders and different brands.
Then jvc camcorder reviews is mentioned just enough times as to not spam google.
Content and reviews is just enough, i have had people telling me my reviews should be 1500 words etc, rubbish!
You only need a few phares and paragraphs. Keep it short and sweet.
Yes i used google .co .uk as i use that every day! I am only on page 2 for google .com
      Hope this answers your questions.
      Gary

  • What kind of traffic are you getting from this? I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I doubt the average user will search for a phrase using " " around the keywords. 99.99% of Google users don't know the first thing about internet marketing and will just type the keywords into google like normal. Just saying...

Don't see you on the first page, but I do see you on page 3 when searching in quotes. Not a bad start. Now, build these sites around keyword rich domains and you'll see even better results.
